Okay, regarding the burger at Pappas BBQ, are y'all going to a certain location, or they're all pretty consistent?
I've found them to be pretty consistent. Some may be better than others but I've not found a bad one.

Best burger in town is Cantina Barba.

Eh, it's definitely not my favorite burger, and I agree Pappas BBQ's burger is ironically significantly better. But from what I remember it was decent, not a this was terrible and a waste of my money burger by any means.Furlock Bones said:i just moved really closed to this place. i've been meaning to hit it up. wasn't expecting a burger rec out of it. but good to know.BudFox7 said:

I think they are pretty consistent, but the 45 location just south of the loop is where I used to get them and can vouch for that location for sure.rcb said:

My prime hits were downtown on Pierce and San Jacinto and up on 59N at Humble. I sure do miss them and the fries.

I am not sure who to believe.

I'm coming back to the motherland soon.
If you had three top spots to grab a great burger, what would they be?
Are they still in that shack on Pinemont or did I hear that they relocated to a strip center in that area a while back?Psycho Bunny said:TookiesMarathonAg12 said:

To further derail this thread, I saw in a post on FB from Scotty's that they're adding a steakhouse that will be open w/ reservations Thursday thru Saturday. Not sure where on the compound it is, but they had plenty of room to work with.rcb said:Microwave Onions said:
I like Scotty's.
Though I like to say I'm going to Booth, TX so it seems like more of a getaway. Bonus points for being able to look across the creek and see where hamburgers come from.
Haha I started to say Booth but figured nobody would recognize it. Have you been to the Flying Cow just down the road? Pretty good Wagyu burgers farm raised right there. How about the Jay Cafe in Needville. Incredible chicken fried steak.
How fabulous.Ag_07 said:
We talking about Itty Bitty Burger Barn?
Yeah they moved out of that spot and into the strip center at Antoine and Pinemont.
That old spot is now a gay Mezcun cantina.
