Just in time for college football and Oktoberfest. This sucks- it had a decent food and beer selection, big patio, family friendly and not the insanity of 19th/20th streets. Oh well.

Yea I read as a temporary closing to change the menu and switch to counter service only.

Their menu is completely limited now, so they weren't wrong.
It's still open, ate there last weekend.
Quality went downhill the last few years IMO. Pretty expensive for subpar food.

I don't care so much about the food, but the beer selection.

Ate at the original one in Pearland often when we lived there. Was really disappointed when they closed that location.
It was pretty clear they weren't going to make it since they hadn't announced any plans for their Oktoberfest celebration.
Hopefully Buzbee can get them a big payout from the CenterPoint lawsuit so they can reopen.

Same. We live in Pearland and frequented it. It closed for renovations during Covid and then randomly announced they were selling. The new place "Good Vibes" that's there now isn't too bad though.

Any word on the one down in League City? The website is down, but google still says open. They always seemed to have a good crowd and no centerpoint issues. Food was mediocre, but it was a fun place.

That would be so sweet. I love me some Gordon Street Tavern, but wouldn't mind a new spot. I miss the OG Pearland spot.

I called their other location to clarify and despite what Google says, they are NOT PERMANENTLY CLOSED, it is temporary!Beryl has really taken a toll on them, and they need support after they reopen.I love this place, their fall/winter gluwein is the stuff of dreams, their food is great, and beer delicious.

I'd like to believe this, but they already reopened after Beryl.
