Lots of self-imposed penance being paid by the Gen X and younger employees who work for oil and chemical companies, too. More of them drive Teslas than I would expect.

At my oil and gas service/manufacturing employer, the only ones I see in Teslas and higher end EVs are parked near the upper management building.

I didn't know San Antonio was so bad. Didn't notice the few times I visited there on vacation.

I know MoPac in the Austin area is very bad. I have seen those videos online.

- yield signs on feeders

- any solid white line leading up to or from a freeway exit or on ramp

- any traffic light turning yellow anywhere

- stop for pedestrians crossing signs

This is a pretty solid list, I would say in terms of quantity, the yellow lights and solid white line leading to or from a freeway are tied for tops.

I might add left turns at busy intersections where people invent a second left turn lane also!

In terms of quantity I'd agree.

But I don't think houstonians even know you're supposed to yield to pedestrians in a crosswalk. So in percentage terms, it would be higher.

I usually see people ignoring red lights at intersections daily.

^ I would consider this to be one of our better drivers in Houston.

When Houston drivers go to other cities they make national news.

Getting near the fast lane in Houston is more dangerous than hiking Angels Landing at Zion.

Don't know that I agree with that. You'll see Tesla drivers that will do aggressive things because their cars are quicker and better handling than pretty much any other sedan. But I never see them just weaving in and out of traffic like crazy like you do a Charger or Camaro.

I never really see Teslas doing 10 under like that, but you probably will see weird braking from the autopilot/full self driving from people that use that. The default for FSD/Autopilot is to use the speed limit, but the driver can override it to go faster. I think the max is setting at 85 or 90mph.

All of the SW quadrant of 99 has developed into these neighborhoods. I think they just pick words out of a hat at this point

I love Tesla drivers....

On the way to take my kids to daycare this morning I was at a red light in the left lane to turn left. Small side street light with two lanes. Tesla pulls up behind me in the middle of both lanes, so blocking everyone who was trying to turn right, which is a lot of people at this intersection. Then, when the light turns green, not a protected arrow, the Tesla honks at me (I can't go yet because cars coming the opposite direction are going straight).

After dropping the kids off and on the way back home, I'm going north on Shepherd in the far left lane (where it's 4 lanes). Tesla driver turns right from a side street into the second lane from the right, causing two cars to slam on their brakes. Then at the next block decides to turn left from their lane causing me to slam on my brakes...should have just t-boned him....

Yes, we have so many third world migrants that just don't know how to drive. Almost every day I see someone out here in the burbs doing something insanely dumb and death defying. Almost always a foreign or "POC" woman. Between that and the freeway paper plate Altima thugs who seem to be fine with dying at any moment, this is an awful place to drive.

Increasingly becoming this guy…

Teslas seem to be replacing the Mercedes C class as the preferred automobile of a certain female demographic (hint: they are much more likely to be able bodied but use handicap placards as VIP parking cards and motorized scooters when shopping).

Driving on the Dallas north toll road is crazy. So many fools going really fast on small lanes and weaving in/out of traffic. Luckily I'm only there once a year or so.
Worst drivers I've seen.

Just a rant but EVERYONE is on their damn phones ALL the time now. Every light, they stop and look at phones and then when light turns green, its 1 second, 2 seconds, 3 seconds, then a honk and they go. Irritating AF!!!

Slow driver in right lane on highway? On their phone.

Not merging properly? On their phone.

Not going at a green light? On their phone.

No idea where they are going? On their phone.

Those people on their phone at the light are the worst. I can't tell you how many times I have to sit through another cycle because those idiots aren't moving immediately. Then I have to decide if I want to use my horn at the risk of getting shot to death.
