Never heard of this bar until now and I love getting to NOLA and have covered a good portion of bars in the Magazine St./Garden District/Irish Channel area. This seems right up my old man and I's alley and will make a stop next time I'm in town.

Indeed I am. If you want to sit in the corner and complain about all the trashy people who are loud and annoying while drinking overpriced beer and *****ing about the costs while watching football on your iPhone trying to ignore crappy rap music playing well then I'm your guy.

Like I said, I'm not in the loop on it at all. At least not since the original Burlap Barrel closed down and it seemed like all the good dives were closing.
