Anyone have a good mechanic they would recommend in the Woodlands/Spring/Conroe area?

Need my brake pads and rotors replaced and would like to take it to a mechanic that someone can vouch for.

May be out of your way depending on where you're at but Toy Tech Auto on 2920 is my go to.

They're very upfront about everything and do great work.

LMC Automotive on Aldine Westfield is great and has taken great care of everyone I have sent over there.

I should add, unless you drive some ridiculously expensive car, with basic tools this is about a 1-2 hour job, max. And done much cheaper.

Bumping this to add where I went in case anyone has the same question down the road.

I went to R&E Auto Repair in Spring (off Rayford) and had an excellent experience. I recommend them.

I hesitate to recommend him only because his shop does not have the space for too much more work, but we use Codes in Conroe. He's an excellent mechanic and charges a very fair price. Just replaced a timing belt and water pump for $1040 for a 2019 Oddyssey Elite.

I have been using Elad at R&E for years after a neighbor recommended him. Good dude. He'll talk your ear off though, so always have an exit strategy.
