Anyone been recently? Curious how crowded it is on a Saturday and never been. Either that or Grand Texas in New Caney for something closer

We are season pass holders at Splashway and have been multiple times this year. It is awesome. I describe it as, 'If Chik Fil A operated a water park'Dill-Ag13 said:

If I'm paying $60/person, there better be.Quote:

Savoring a 12oz premium beer is like treating yourself to a mini vacation in a bottle, complete with luxurious flavors that whisk you away. Drink responsibly. Don't drink and drive.
No clue, never stayed overnight there so I just opened up a tab.Milwaukees Best Light said:
Do you need to bring a credit card for the bar? Or is there some way to 'charge it to the room'?

We took our camper this past Memorial Day weekend and had a great time with our 6 and 9 year old, our first time going to the park. It wasn't near as crowded as I expected, I doubt we ever waited more than 30 mins for the biggest slides, and little to no wait for the smaller ones. It's not cheap at $60/person per day, but since we stayed 3 days we got season passes that were $150 or something like that. We're planning on going again before school starts so we'll get our money's worth out of them.

We will be there 17-20.
How hard do they check the ice chests? Can I sneak a couple beers in? I don't mind paying at the bar, but would rather save a couple bucks. I would sneak in booze, but I try to stay off the liquor until the sun goes down. Or at least until around dinner time. Or, after lunch. Really, whenever, but I try to delay it.

For my Splashway getaways with family and friends, I like to add what I call the "Sheridan Floater" on top.
Inevitably someone will run out of beer, so get in your side by side or golf cart and exit the park via an opening wide enough to fit through from the main parking lot.
If you planned correctly you have a few roadies with you so you can booze cruise the dirtroad back streets of Sheridan all the way to the Dollar General on Highway 90. Restock quickly and take some time to explore before heading back into the park.
just be prepared for the dollar store level of beer selection. Busch light, Budweiser, miller lite etc. also good chance some six packs have been broken and cooler may be hotdrumboy said:Mega Lops said:

Dollar Generals sell beer? Maybe the only one I've been to in 20 years was in a dry county but there was sadly no beer.
