What about the restaurant? Does it get super busy to where it isn't worth the effort? Or is it a viable option? We have two nights of food planned and were considering visiting the restaurant one night. Obviously not expecting 5 star gourmet, but not disgusting would be nice. Just somewhere in the middle is fine. 2 hour wait is not fine with my hangry crew.

as the, presumable, father...you're role is to say "there's probably going to be a big wait, so i'm going to head over now and get on the list". then, you sit there are drink beers until such time as you choose to inform the family that the table is "just about ready".

I would say somewhere in the middle. The restaurant is our plan for Thursday night if we can get out there early enough.

The restaurant was empty post 7:30ish.

There is obviously a mad dash right after the park closes at 5 week days and 6 on weekends. So if you can go shower and grab a snack after it's much better timing.
