1. I think that's the pointQuote:
So you might wanna stay away.
Well, at least they don't happen every day.Quote:
Dust storms can occur statewide at any time of the year, but they are most prevalent in the High Plains, particularly in a twenty-county area around Lubbock and most often in late winter or early spring.
Clint Eastwood scouted the locations himself while driving a pickup truck through Oregon, Nevada andCalifornia. He chose the shores of Mono Lakebecause he considered the area highly photogenic. Additional scenes were filmed at Reno, Nevada'sWinnemucca Lake and California's Inyo National Forest.May 29, 2018CygnusX1 said:
I believe Lubbutt was the town Clint filmed the movie High Plains Drifter in...

More hooligans on the Bengals team alone than in West Texas.Hop said:WestTexasAg said:You seem very protective of the Bengals.....which is bizarre.Hop said:So, are you more of a Tech fan, or an Aggie fan? You want to see empty seats????
Wait till A&M downturns
Bengal fans never drunkenly stormed the field against A&M and shoved the goal posts into the stands filled with A&M fans, bloodying one of our chancellors.
This was a good natured back and forth, but some of you West Texans have been spending way too much time with these Tech hooligans on the plains.
Like I said..... I hate this time of year. Give me West Texas summer weather over College Station though.jblaschke said:

How has this thread not been moved to the pub yet? This is like the "Model Home" to have posters walk through to see what the pub is like.

All we have now is United, which use to be awesome until they sold out to Albertson's and now they're terrible. That's what a monopoly does to ya.

Yeah, I've heard about that 114th location, but also have heard "no immediate plans".

You may just hear news in the Loop and Slide area soon. 50/50 at this point.

Like maybe the Sears floor space.
MooreTrucker said:Well, given that A&M is a 60,000 student university with world-recognized academics and nationally recognized athletics and has been around for over 150 years v. a school of less than 40,000 that's been around for less than 100 years and only just beginning to be recognized athletically or academically, not really a valid comparison.David Kennard said:Captain Pablo said:
I will say the Overton/Broadway area adjacent to Tech's University Ave. absolutely blows A&M's Northgate out of the water
No comparison
If it's such a great place why don't they have top 10 recruiting classes every year, or for that matter top 20? we seem to be in that mix regularly and have been for many many years.
In fact I wonder when is the last time Tceh had a better recruiting class than A&M...
