Go to church.
Actually, it depends on what you're looking to do...
There's certainly no shortage of repressed private Christian school gals away from daddy for the 1st time and ready to be picked up at the Zone, Touch of Class, Stairs, or Legacy (assuming any of those are still there).
Plenty of outdoors stuff.
- Mountain bike trails off FM 600 up by Ft. Phantom
- Fishing at Ft. Phantom (especially if you're willing to jump the fence to fish the electrical plant outfall)
- Lots of other lakes within an hr.or 2 (Spence, Cisco, Brownwood, Coleman, O.H. Ivie, Possum Kingdom)
- There's some fish in Nelson Park too
- Camp the State Park
- Find somebody's land to hunt on (could probably Craigslist that you'll do ranch work in exchange for dove/quail privileges)
- Golf @ Country Club, Fairway Oaks (now CC), Diamondback, Maxwell, Dyess, Shady Oaks in Baird
- Disc Golf at Will Hair or Cal Young Park, and apparently there's a new course at ACU
- Go see a Div II/III football/basketball/baseball game at one of the colleges
Culturally, there's not a lot but
- Grace Cultural Center is a nice small-town museum and gets some decent traveling exhibits from time to time
- The Paramount is an awesome old theater that shows classic films and other events.
A few ideas in there
