i was there during the rough years for Wall Athletics. My freshman and soph years all we had were Softball and Girls' BB and CC.

Then my Sr. year the boys CC made it to state. Boys FB, Baseball, and Hoops teams won district. and Track finally started sending people to regionals. It had been pretty dark for a quite a while.

Since my Senior year Wall Athletics have been pretty dang good. Not that I had anything to do with it.

I graduated from Wall America long before most of you guys. Our Athletics were not very good at all. A drought before, during and after.

i think we had some decent football teams in the 70's and early 90's. other than that it's only been a random track or tennis athlete that made any noise until early this last decade.

When i started running CC we barely had enough to complete a team. now they are at the top of the state year in and year out. i wasn't any good but was there when some people turned it around. Dan Shannahan is the man. And a great Ag.

I missed getting to share a suite on Saturday at the Final w/ Clayton because i was already committed to fishing w/ a friend.
