Good to see domination by the Little SWC. District 5-2A got swept out of the playoffs last night, though I was overjoyed at the fact that Anson got rolled by Wall (I'm never a fan of Anson winning, especially when they made it to the playoffs at Stamford's expense).
Looking at the bracket, it appears that Midland Lee will have Lubbock Monterey. If Jones Stadium is tied up with those other games, I wonder if they'll flip home-and-home for it and play that game at either Grande Communications or Lowrey Field.
Permian has the winner of El Paso Montwood and San Angelo Central, which I haven't seen a score on. I would assume that, either way, that game would probably be a home-and-home too, since there aren't a whole lot of 5A-quality neutral sites in between Odessa and El Paso or Odessa and San Angelo.
Looking a little farther down the road, Permian has the toughest draw of all if any of the teams advance to the regional semis. The winner of Permian-Montwood/Central plays the winner of the much Southlake Carroll-Euless Trinity game.
