CS doesn't have a sh*t ton of terrible, multi family dwellings like Hewitt

Hewitt has MIDWAY SCHOOLS with a lower taxation then Woodway...that tells me you move to Woodway if you want addresses, you move to Hewitt if you are smart.

FWIW, there are less than desirable apartments in Hewitt and they have likely been there longer than most of you have been out of college. Several of them fall into lap land that Waco annexed giving Midway schools and cheap apartment living. There are also Woodway addresses that fall within WACO SCHOOLS...how stupid was that move?

BTW, you're not going to get me to defend Hewitt. I'll agree about the over abundance of crappy multifamily there.

However, the point stands that the Woodway/Hewitt area has a great population of folks that the private ER is targeting.

Property taxes are a little lower in Hewitt, but most of the tax bill is school taxes.

My water rates are much lower in Woodway, it more than offsets the slightly higher property tax. BTW, I'm comparing my much larger house to the little shoebox that my sister has in Hewitt (not that my house is huge).

If you vote for Vidrine, you're voting for apartments. The dude wants to build them in Hewitt. The other construction guy does too.

They also want to spend WalMart money before Walmart is even built. Not good in the CoH.
