I know just enough to get myself and anyone within 10 ft shocked or worse when it comes to the wizardry of electricity.
I'm installing 6-in oval LED lights into the new headache rack on the truck.
I figured I would try to experiment with proper connections from the comfort of the kitchen countertop using a bench volt regulator Anyone out there with knowledge on automotive wiring? Who can help me?
I am able to light any one of the four LEDs using the positive and negative leads from the volt regulator. However, the instructions indicate I will also need to ground each light. I'm not sure I understand why I am able to get light from the LEDs without using the ground plug on the volt regulator. This is likely to be something that needs to be discussed over the phone. But maybe somebody can explain it to a simpleton in this format. Any help would be much appreciated.
