This literally just happened, so I don't have all the details, but I've never had anything like this happen before and could use some input.
My son was just driving his 2017 Infiniti QX50 when the entire car went completely dead - engine cut off, all the lights on the dash came on, and the radio was making a rapid clicking noise.
A few seconds passed and the car started operating normally. He drove it to the nearest parking lot and pulled over. When he turned the car off and tried to turn it back on, it would not start. Complete silence.
He got out of the car and checked the battery connections - they are fine. He happened to pull over at an Auto Zone, and they confirmed the battery is fully functional.
He is driving it to a mechanics shop right now, but what the heck just happened? I know Infinitis/Nissans tend to have electrical problems, but this was pretty extreme.
Has this happened to anyone else? What was the problem/solution?
