According to alternative history writer, Henry Turtledove, the South won as everything went their way at Gettysburg and Vicksburg. The second war you mentioned happens somewhere around 1885 with another CSA victory. The USA bides their time looking for a European Allie which they find about 1916, Germany.BQ78 said:

I think it was Antietam. The Lost Order wasn't lost, allowing Lee to get the jump on McClellan and preventing the Emancipation Proclamation from being issues, allowing Britain and France to intervene. It's a great series capping off with WWII being decided around Pittsburgh.
Key decisions at Gettysburg are always the most fascinating 'what if's' to me. Not breaking news (or even a real high value production) but you might appreciate this one;
