Yeah my what-ifs above about McClellan and Johnston almost guarantees Civil War 2, as the war probably would have ended in 1862 without slavery being impacted

According to alternative history writer, Henry Turtledove, the South won as everything went their way at Gettysburg and Vicksburg. The second war you mentioned happens somewhere around 1885 with another CSA victory. The USA bides their time looking for a European Allie which they find about 1916, Germany.
The person that is not willing to fight and die, if need be, for his country has no right to life.

I think it was Antietam. The Lost Order wasn't lost, allowing Lee to get the jump on McClellan and preventing the Emancipation Proclamation from being issues, allowing Britain and France to intervene. It's a great series capping off with WWII being decided around Pittsburgh.

Key decisions at Gettysburg are always the most fascinating 'what if's' to me. Not breaking news (or even a real high value production) but you might appreciate this one;



For those who haven't watched/listened to Jocko's Gettysburg battlefield walk through I highly recommend it (I think it's 6 parts):
