The play didn't get off and it looked liked the QB crossed the line too.
That illegal shift penalty aided LSU because without I the clock would've expired before they could snap

Ball was snapped 3 seconds after clock ran out, AND QB threw ball 3 yards past line of scrimmage...yet announcers just can't wrap their minds around it.
So what was the ruling? I couldn't hear it.

At least this will FINALLY get Les fired so we can rebuild. It's been a great ride, but it's time to see what a new coach can do with this talent. Miles just isn't good enough anymore. Our defense was the only thing keeping this game close. Offense pitiful once again. Feel sad for Fournette wasting his talent with us.

I think there is but if the clock is otherwised stop it doesn't come into play. First down stopped the clock but the second they place the ball the clock starts. It easily would have taken 10 seconds to get set up with no flag. Loophole in the rule maybe.
