Around Aggieland (9/15)
On Friday’s edition of TexAgs Radio, Kay Naegeli took us Around Aggieland and provided updates on all things Texas A&M as football will face ULM this weekend. In addition, Aggie volleyball will take on Liberty, and soccer will host Kentucky.
Football
Texas A&M will look to bounce back this weekend with a win over Louisiana Monroe. Kickoff will be at 3:01 p.m. on SEC Network.
Basketball
Texas A&M men’s and women’s basketball players Henry Coleman III and Jada Malone were selected to represent the Aggies at the SEC Basketball Leadership Council Sept. 15-16, the league announced Thursday.
The goal of the Council is for student-athletes to serve as a conduit of communication from their teams to the conference office on issues related to student-athlete experience, and student-athlete wellness and to provide feedback on proposed rules governing the SEC and NCAA.
Baseball
Texas A&M Baseball received its 30-game Southeastern Conference schedule from the league on Wednesday afternoon.

Volleyball
Following a loss to No. 22 Houston, the Texas A&M volleyball team closes out its non-conference slate Friday as it hosts Liberty in Reed Arena with first serve set for 12 p.m.
Soccer
Texas A&M soccer opens its SEC slate Friday when it welcomes the hottest team in the conference to Ellis Field. The Aggies host the Kentucky Wildcats in a 7 p.m. tilt. The Aggies will also host Texas Southern on Sunday at 6 p.m.
Softball
The Texas A&M softball team announced its 2023 fall schedule, which features five home events and two road matchups.
The fall schedule kicks off with a home game against Texas State on October 6, followed by road pairings at Texas A&M-Commerce on October 10 and Texas on October 18.
A&M finishes the slate hosting Blinn College (October 19), McLennan Community College (October 24) and Texas Woman’s University (November 4.) A Maroon & White game is sandwiched in the schedule on October 27.
Women’s Golf
The No. 3 Texas A&M women’s golf team finished the ANNIKA Intercollegiate in fifth on Wednesday after shooting an even-par 288 round on the final day.
