I remember when Kenny Hill ran all over South Carolina and we had him suddenly elevated to Heisman candidate in our Kool Aid addled minds. Let's see how this kid does against some of our tougher opponents before overreacting again. Florida had a weak defense.
Zoo doesn't have that long of memory. Hell most of them had CW winning the heisman this year before they completely flipped and now want to hand it to Reed.
After Reed's first interception I'm sure they'll be calling for Henderson. Then a walk on will be next.
Bill? Agree with most everything you have said on this topic.
Here is my call and why I am so frustrated with the fans.
I am all in on Reed. I think longterm he is the better answer and better fit for Klein. Havent seen that thpe of energy and leadership since JFF. Undeniable.
However, he is young and inexperienced. He missed many wide open WRs and simply didn't see them on the field. That's a-ok. But Reed is 110% destine to throw some rather bad INTs and make some bone headed plays. That is what you get and should expect with such a dynamic player. But I can see him doing this, having a terrible game and everyone revolting.
For some reason, most on here expect instant and perfect results.
Doesnt matter if it is Weigman or Reed moving forward, most TexAgs is gonna ***** and moan about one thing or the other.
Again folks, we are 1-0 in the SEC with a first year coach. Keep that in perspective. If you are demanding CFP, you are destine for total disappointment and more negativity. This team making the CFP is a pipe dream but plausible in Elko's 1st year.
Reed >> Weigman longterm IMO.
Weigman > Reed for the shortterm IMO.
Why I want Reed. I will accept losses and bad mistakes in order to get him there for 2025.
