#6, #7, and #12 WR in the portal is HUGE. We still need 1 or 2 DT but we've added some mich needed help and should see significant improvement on offense. The secondary is a little concern but mainly Safety. Grab a solid DT and DL will look good.
There's reason for optimism especially since it will only be year 2.

Going into next season we have a lot more talent at skill positions than we have in many years. Still have some questions about talent and have doubt of our depth in the trenches.

The offense wasn't the issue imo. The D fell apart the last half of the season. We desperately need defensive help.

Maybe we did get a discount on Hudson because kc was never going to be cheap. Looks like we are back in this thing.

Offense needed help but secondary and DL disappearing is also a concern. We should be better in the front half of the secondary but safeties concern me.
DL the jury is still out. We should be good to great at the Edge position and 5 technique looks promising. DT starters are good and Evans is a very talented but unproven backup but who else do we have. If we add a solid DT in the portal I'll feel a lot better about the DL.

They weren't that bad. Most the blocking issues that I can remeber were from the TE group.
Also compare last year's OL to this year's.

Very impressed with our talent acquisitions with our incoming freshmen class and now our portal additions. No question we are upgrading our talent across the board.

I think it was more the scheme than the OL play. Too many times had a TE blocking edge players one on on. Not a recipe for success.
