What was the consensus on him at Nebraska? I don't know what I expected from him but how are we feeling in general? Seems like we really only brought him in to make sure we maximize profits. I've ranted on this enough, but I firmly believe we have no desire to win (we being the university). Our dedication is to the bottom line and that's it.

If we do not advance to at least the Sweet 16, Buzz Williams needs to go. We have lost 3 consecutive games to Mississippi State, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt. With very tough games against Florida (away) on Saturday and Auburn (home on Tuesday) looming, we are looking at a 5-game losing streak.

For Michael Earley, it's way too early to pass judgment. He's only 7 games into his tenure, and SEC play doesn't start until 3/14.

Wasn't he thought of as more of a bean counter type that was brought in to get the finances under control after all of the spending during the Jimbo era?

Your description of our "need" is the typical fan calling for coach firings avd lots more spend. Why should we do that because you are disappointed?

No reason to fire coaches at this point. Our basketball team is still likely headed for a 3 or 4 seed with a real shot at making the sweet 16. With the right matchups we could be a final 4 team for the first time since 1980 when we should have beat the National champ Louisville in the sweet 16.

2 losses in a 50+ game season mean very little in baseball. We still have too 5 talent even without Gaven. Relax.

What's the old fashioned way? Teams have been throwing money to chase NCs as long as I've been alive which is a long time. Look at the titles OU won under Switzer. One of the biggest cheaters ever. Look at the thug program Jimmy ran. Let's not act like money just entered the chat with NIL. It's just on steroids now and out there in the open.

You can tell who the New Basketball fans are on here, and who remembers in 2003 going WINLESS in the Big 12 and losing at Home to A&M Corpus Christi.

Aggie Basketball has made the NCAA tournament 16 times in the history of the school. Buzz Williams will be responsible for 3 tournament appearances, plus 1 as an assistant, within the next 2 weeks.

It can also be argued that in the last 4 Years, the return on Basketball is FAR greater than Anything Football has achieved in the last 13 years, minus 1 Orange Bowl win.

We pump hundreds of Millions of dollars into Football to be known as Texas 8&4, but want to fire the best thing to happen to Aggie Basketball since Billy Gillispie? Who are we gona go out and get? Aggie Basketball is not exactly a Coaching destination.
