I really like Andrew Monaco. I think he does an excellent job on football, basketball, baseball broadcasts, especially compared to his predecessor, who shall not be named.

Does this new deal with Playfly sports mean that Monaco, as a Learfield employee, not call A&M games anymore?

It's possible that he could leave Learfield, come work for Playfly, and continue in his current role.

Too soon to know for sure.

NIL has more to do with it especially the House Settlement. The real question is who chose to fire Jimbo. Because they greatly impeded our finances. As did the fans demanding replacement.

Monaco will just move to Playfly.

Now, if only we could get lucky enough to get rid of Will Johnson out of this (which we won't).

Dave South was great imo. I ate breakfast with him once when I worked for the athletic department. Super nice guy.

I like Will also. His personality is on the dry side and I hope he just rolls with his natural and keeps providing good details. Lately, it seems like he's trying to be more colorful and that's just not necessary.
