The exact attitude that's got him up on federal drug charges.
Weed culture is absolutely maddening.

Unfortunately you don't get to pick and choose which laws to obey. Until the laws change, just abide by them and you'll be just fine.

I was in high school during the middle 70's. Weed was as common to us as Coors Light, so I'm not going to get too excited about that. But, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, trying to hide, said weapon, and dumb enough to have a round in the chamber, all the while ,attempting to distribute the weed - that guy needs to have a long timeout. The article only says the federal charges related to possessing with intent to distribute a controlled substance. It does not specify which substance that is. The only mention of weed is from his previous arrest. The complaint is sealed. It could be weed or it could be something else. Will need to wait and see what type of drug it was when the complaint is unsealed.

The most disappointing thing in that article is that he's using a public defender

Shame if true. He could have done good things had he put his mind in the right direction.

My favorite play of his when he was here was when he chased down a play 50 yards downfield against Tennessee and ended up jumping on a fumble. That play was all about effort.

I thought his NFL career was longer than that. Guess not.

Nah, he had an opportunity to get the same education we did without paying a dime for it. What he chose to do is on him.

If It's weed it would have to take a staggering amount of it for the US Attorney to pick up the case. I'd say at a minimum 100 kilos.

He has issues far beyond simply wanting to sling some weed. "WEED"? It is a hell of a drug....

Sad to see but he had his chance after his 1st major arrest. Seems like many chances considering.

Without paying a dime plus whatever else he got - he had an opportunity to play professionally also - we did our part.

Actually it's not. In 24 U.S states you can buy it for recreational use... legally. Then there's even more where you can buy it with a medical card

That was 8 years ago, he was never charged, and the arrest records have now been expunged.
Greater love hath no man than this....
