Just have to be able to stop their run game. Not sure what their OL looks like, but they'll have as good a 1-2 punch at RB as anybody in the country with Love and Price.

I thought I remembered two or three of their starting OL entering the portal. Not sure if they were just testing the waters and returned to South Bend or if they indeed transferred out.

We couldn't last year when they had 2 fish starters on their OL. Don't recall if they lost much on OL in portal or not, but on paper, they may be a better running team (albeit, who knows if their QB can run like Elko's past QB could).

Can we tackle before they make yardage will be crucial...not sold on that ability by LBs and definitely not by the safeties. DL will be revamped and it will start with them.

We shall see.

How many times have we seen a new QB light up the scoreboard against our defense? We couldn't even stop Auburn's awful QB last season. That guy was hot garbage

2. LHP pitchers who throw 85 mph and have an ERA of 6 dominate the Astros

Notre Dame will run the ball 40+ times and try to shorten the game. I worry their OL and RBs will control the game. It could be a shootout assuming our offense can actually score. Fingers crossed Klein has a few plays drawn up other than HB dive and 4 curl routes short of the sticks.

Judging by how lincoln riley played to have the ball last (and it worked like a charm) in our last game, I would expect that we will be 2-1 after leaving south bend. IMO, this season will be worse than the last due to the away games.

Freakin unreal how bad our luck is in big games and how we just almost never rise up to the occasion as a team in any major sport

The most possible outcome is that the team is unfocused and starry-eyed playing in South Bend and underperforms. It happens time and time again in big games.
