Also- I'm sure they will choose to participate next season, and open up the house. Sark's wife is an attention hoar of the highest level. With the separation last summer, of course they weren't interested in highlighting home life. But you can bet your ass with a baby and everyone suddenly "happy again", they're bringing cameras in.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The yell leaders need to be deprioritized for media. They are not doing the university any favors at all in this new age of short form media/always on social.
They have always been cringe, but now we get the worst snippets at a viral pace.

Yell boys are the one tradition I would not be sad to see retired or relegated only to leading yells without media exposure or dumbass midnight yell stories. It's high past time.

Watched it all and thought it seemed like the only airtime we got was when we were losing to other teams, except when they showed about 10 seconds of our victory over LSU. F those guys.

They certainly didn't have a camera crew with every single team, for every single game.

And we certainly weren't inviting them for early weeks of the Elko tenure, or to Elko's house, like some other coaches had, while his wife and kids were in Durham.

How would you have framed it differently from Week 1 in terms of giving access?

Truth here…
We had exactly one play show for the LSU night game destruction. The biggest game of the SEC season till that point in the year. One play.

But they showed us losing agonizingly in long drawn out stories against Texas, SC, Auburn so far.

They didn't show our win at Florida or our black out win at home with the great crowd and one of the highest rated games all season for LSU. That's a little sus.

It's not their fault we didn't show up to play for the games that their film crew was in attendance for.

So, those games weren't televised or TM productions had no video to share?

Watching that series you would never know we beat lsu in dominating fashion in 2H, had a huge dominating road win at FL, and EMBARASSED Mizzou to finish 5-3 in SEC play, which we had not done for a long time.

Our coverage was not even balanced, though Elko, the team, culture, facilities came off well.

EsPn never does us any favors...lol always taking shots.

I finished all 7 episodes. I enjoyed Any Given Saturday, but the series would have been better if it had covered our 41-10 demolition of Missouri and our 31-6 domination of LSU in the 2nd half.

Yeah - unfortunately it barely mentioned our win over LSU. Never mentioned the Missouri win that I recall.

The 2 games of ours they focused on were the debacle against Auburn and the loss to tu.

They didn't have crews at every single game all season.

Obviously we loosened up our access when we were sitting in the drivers seat of the conference. Not their fault we tripped on our dck.

I saw a few clips our win over Missouri, but there was no mention of the win and certainly not the score. They focused on our 3 November SEC games: our embarring 44-20 loss road loss to South Carolina, our inexplicable 43-41 4-OT road loss to Auburn, and 17-7 home loss to Texas.

Whoever produced it, made us look bad.

How did they make us look bad?

They showed we lost a bunch of games down the stretch, which we did.

And that we didn't give access early in the season, which we didn't.

And that our head coach's wife wasn't baking cookies for the team every week, bc she stayed in NC.

(Beamer's wife got blown up for not baking her cookies long enough, which is stupid bc a good cookie is soft).

Again- it's about access we give, and storylines. We weren't in "aspirational" mode like Vandy and USCe were. And at the end, we didn't impress. Not sure how you expected to weave the LSU and Mizzou games into the storylines that existed at the end.

I stopped watching after 3. BK cringe was too much. I could definitely see Freeze also being cringe. I'll take your word for it.

I only watched the episode about the Egg Bowl and A&M vs tu.

The Elko quotes would be funny if they weren't so sad:

• "When you are blitzing and you are running right up the ass of the guy on your own team...how about you just adjust?"
• "Got to keep the ball in front of us. We just haven't been able to get it right in the middle. It's driving me bats---- bonkers."

currently watching the second episode with DJ Lagway...they show him dominating but don't really tell you who the opponent is....
