I'll take the one who beat Notre Dame on the road and who is undefeated in the SEC.

Reed all day. Manning has a really nasty stat hanging over his head. When under pressure, Manning's completion and total offence yards gained stat, he isn't even ranked within the top 25 QB's for D1 Power 5 conference schools. The Gators took full advantage of that today and so will the rest of the teams that tu plays this season.

Manning was the backup for a LONG time for a reason. He will never play on Sundays.
Reed just needs to work on the deep ball.
Reed >>>> Manning by a mile

tu looked absolutely TERRIBLE today.

My favorite was the broadcasters telling us that Manning is growing up before our eyes as he throws another interception. The "glaze" is so real - I love seeing Manning scramble. I can't wait for our defense to get a shot at him.

Manning is going to struggle for the forseeable future since his best receiver who is a very good player, freshman Parker Livingstone suffered a pretty bad injury today.

And, no, this isnt a meme, but they are roomates.

Reed starting 3/10 is insane. After the play calling was adjusted Reed played good. Reed is much better when driving the ball with confidence. He needs a lot of work on touch for deep balls.

OR, didn't live through the RC Slocum/Jeff Granger high octane offensive era

Those 7 yard throws to a wide open receiver 10 yards away were epic.

I dont think so, but I hope the best for him. That guy is a baller and potential superstar.

I hope he makes a full recovery.

Reed sucks and can't hit 50% of his passes. If he just hit 60%, we might win 10 games.

Reed completed 57% of his throws tonight and is over 60% on the season.

We do! He's a better player this season than he was last year. He looks comfortable out there and plays with confidence now. Dude is a playmaker

Would take Reed every day and twice on Sunday but still mystifying to me why he has ZERO touch on the deep ball. Miles O'Neil in the extremely limited playing time he's gotten, came in and tried ONE and put it dead on the money without the WR even breaking stride

I was a huge critic of Reed before the season. Wasn't impressed the first two games. But he clearly showed progression in ND and every game after. Can't deep pass to save his life, but the kid is really shaping up this season in timing, game management, progressions, etc., and is a really good college QB now - light years ahead of Manning. So much so that I wasn't even sure the OP's question was serious or not.

57% after starting 3 out of 10 was quite a turn around. Went 10 out of 13 for 77% after that.

Good for him.

There is no comparison between Arch and Reed as it stands today. Reed is far better. To Arch's credit he did play the best game of his career this weekend. He threw some nice passes and he was running for his life most of the game. The thing that is interesting, and says a LOT about player rankings, is that Joey Aguilar is probably the best QB in the SEC right now and he was basically a zero star.

Reed doesn't run anymore and can't toss it deep. Arch does both. Otherwise, they are about the same as far as accuracy, thus I'd take Arch.

The reason we did so well in the air against Notre Dame is because Notre Dame spied Reed with a LB. That opened up the passing game. Auburn and MSU didn't do that because Reed is not a threat on the ground. Thats a big reason for lack of production in the air.

Um no…I disagree with that. Did you watch that game? He made some good passes, sure. But his picks he threw were horrible, imo. He just looked rattled to me and give credit to that Florida defense for doing their job

I agree with this point. It's probably the biggest strength of Reed and the ultimate reason Elko chose him over Weigman last year. All the CFB pundits who know about Reed always talks about his ability to remain coolheaded in high-stake moments. It's a shame this kind of stuff doesn't show up in the box score or other stats, honestly.

Speaking of Weigman.

He went 5 of 12 for 71 yards passing, 0 TDs, 1 INT, and 7 yards rushing on 6 carries against Texas Tceh

I didn't say he played great but this was his best performance so far this year against a real defense. He threw some nice passes and scrambled effectively. He had some drops and threw some bad balls for sure but if you are a horn fan there was at least a glimmer of hope.
