We shouldn't need Moss to beat Arky. Rest him if he needs it; we'll definitely need him against LSU.

The toss sweep for the Owens TD was a breath of fresh air. Inside zone into a brick wall time-after-time was giving me Jimbo flashbacks...

Agree. It was as if the heavens opened and angels began to rejoice.

Losing Moss is huge. He only had 5 less yards than Owens but 12 less carries. I love our WR room this year but Moss is still the heart of the offense.

Would guess he is out for next 2-3 games if a bad ankle sprain and nothing else

Significant drop off in offense with Moss out.

Moss averaged 9yrds per

Smith was 4.5
Owens was 3
The other 2 were 3>

Personally I blame the play calling

Owens did exactly what we needed. 3 yards per and 40 seconds per. That was a scoring drive that took up most of the 4th quarter and probably saved some other injuries in the process.

That 4th quarter should give you some clue that this is a yearlong chess match, not a single drive focused coaching group. Moss is probably going to sit out for either the entire Ark game or see little use so he can rest up. Not because he's injury prone, but because we will need him more later in the season.
