They are probably assuming we will be resting a bunch of guys to make sure they are ready for the SEC Championship Game the following week.

Historically speaking this is accurate.

Even in years we were the better team and should have won, sip has a magical ability to get the calls (targeting, etc) or make miracle plays (like Colt McCoy running for about 57 yards on a 3rd and 56 to get the critical 1st down).

Until we beat them consistently, especially in years we should win, they will be favored.

I am starting to wonder how much of ESPN's analytics and on-air analysis is intended to drive betting. It was one thing when they would push one team over another to drive ratings but when it is used to push bets to one side or another on the ESPN Sportsbook, it feels like a grey area.

Yea, well, ESPN has always been in love with the sips.

The only way to have that level of confidence in this bad sip team is if they have the refs in the bag.

Tu is our 3rd toughest remaining game at best. Mizzou is easily the toughest imo. LSU is always a problem . Granted things could change

Texas is a pretty salty team. Their defense is probably 2nd only to Ohio State. They haven't lost much on that side of the ball. Their issues have been the offensive line and injuries to both of their starting RBs.

I suspect they don't lose another game except maybe Georgia and there's a good chance we're playing for an entry into the SEC Championship game again. This narrative that they are suddenly terrible is pretty wild. They've lost two away games to solid teams, one of which is the reigning national champions and they lost that by 7.

It doesn't seem very surprising that FPI has them winning 2 of 3 against us at DKR. It's gonna be a tight game, same as last year. We're a little better and they are a little worse.

I believe it, if the game was this weekend we would probably be 2-3 point dogs.

If 50% is a pick ''em game then 65% is just a couple points favorite. A one point win is still a win.

As of 11/10. Still losing.
Boo hoo. What do we do.

This needs to be another BYU Holiday Bowl outcome. Two dislocated shoulders and an absolute ass kicking.

I remember Detmer, the team, or fans saying they deserved a better opponent than A&M. Whomever, Detmer sure paid the price!

Well that does it... No point in watching now if we're going to lose

Should someone tell him since about 1970 we beat tu as consistently as they beat us?

After Georgia gives horn a colonoscopy this week, I think that reverses.

My predictions are Bama beats OU but in an ugly fashion. Georgia toys with sips like a cat with a mouse in the first half, then just wails on them in the second half. Arch leaves the game before it ends to tend to his bruised coccyx from being pile driven onto his butt, repeatedly. Instead of concussion protocol, he'll be on butt protocol.

He'll try to start at home against the Hogs but easily pull a hammy because his footwork will be hampered.

Exactly right!

Take the last 50 years and the record is .500.

19 wins. 19 losses. And it would have skewed to us if the sips had to face us during the 12 years the game wasn't played. The Manziel teams would have embarrassed them. There were MAYBE two seasons in those 12 where they might have beat us. Remember they had three consecutive losing seasons in there.

This whole BS of Texas always being dominant is just learned horse***** It just isn't true.

Sip refs were the first to get NIL deals many decades ago. ESPN just helping with the payoffs the past 20 years.

Don't we get tired of complaining about the refs? Calls go both ways. Our DB's were raping their WR's last week.

Hoping Georgia stomps a hole in them and Arkansas finds some semblance of a defense before they play the sips. Sankey, Loeffler, and Semko will do whatever they can to secure a spot for the sips in the CFPs. It'd be nice for them to be mathematically eliminated before our game.

It was worse at the start of the season where they had the sips at almost 70%.

If Georgia and we take care of business Saturday, I expect the percentage to also go down.

FPI changes every week for they had earlier ND, LSU, and Mizzou also favored.

Lol. He is saying this has been a problem forever. Are you class of '08? I'm 53 years old and the 'sips have been getting the calls for as long as I can remember. And long before I was born.
