Flags fly forever. And the season they had was worth every penny. I doubt they even would notice a return to obscurity but assuming they will doesn't make it likely or true.

If he goes 0-24 the next two years, they won't regret paying him.
They will.
Because they paid him AFTER the NC win.
So for the big money they paid him, they would get 0-24.
He is being paid big bucks not for the NC but for the next NC.

Not only does he have their only natty, but he has their only 10 win seasons, too. He could go 9-4 for the next 10 years and and they'd still keep him.

He could go 6-6 until his contract expires and they would just ride it out.

LOL, they're still a basketball school. Their success these two seasons is impressive but they'll come back down before too long. tOSU, Michigan, PSU will make sure of it.

We're a football school and in the past 20 years, has the same # of 10 win seasons as Indiana which is one.
We don't have room to talk.

Bump. Looks like a steal.
Per an ESPN source, Curt Cignetti has agreed to a new deal at Indiana that pushes his annual salary up to $13.2 million. The deal will go through 2033. Hoosiers have been the ultimate aggressors in keeping Cignetti.

Its an opinion and can be disputed as such. Not that I disagree.BMX Bandit said:Per an ESPN source, Curt Cignetti has agreed to a new deal at Indiana that pushes his annual salary up to $13.2 million. The deal will go through 2033. Hoosiers have been the ultimate aggressors in keeping Cignetti.

And the fact remains that short of a Sandusky situation, Indiana is not going to regret this move regardless of how many future playoff they don't make

So I wonder how "Big Money Hossiers" had approve his initial hire. Big cigar egos, who think they know about everything have destroyed logical actions for a long time.
