Don't get me wrong, I agree with the sentiments here but the logic isn't logic'ing to me:

Disney owns the rights to the SEC.
Texas A&M fans are mad at Disney for treating programs "important" to Disney better than us.
Disney, as major corporation, cares mostly about market share and the bottom line.
When given the chance to help ESPN's bottom line, we refuse on principle.

Honestly, I am not expecting us to be able to actually move the needle, but we already sold our soul to the mouse, it doesn't do us much good to spite them now.

In MACtion tonight, Toledo opens the game running back the kickoff for a TD against visiting Northern Illinois. I think the MAC is one of the more entertaining small conferences.

From a news post one hour ago:

Before you cancel YouTube TV because Disney's beloved channels are missing, there is a slight possiblity that ABC and YouTube could return. At least, that's what Google is proposing.

YouTube publicly shared an email it had sent to Disney leadership regarding the lack of Disney channels, most notably ABC and ESPN, on Google's YouTube TV cable streaming service. This response is in reference to Disney's proposal to restore ABC to YouTube TV subscribers for 24 hours during the election window.

YouTube would like to restore ABC and ESPN while the two companies negotiate, saying, "We propose immediately restoring the Disney channels that our customers watch: ABC and the ESPN networks, while we continue to negotiate. Those are the channels that people want."

Anyone remember when YouTubeTV led the charge in the covid season to keep us out of the playoffs? I distinctly remember their frontman Kirk Herbstreit saying, late in November, "Oh yeah, Oklahoma is a way better team than Texas A&M. Texas A&M has no business in the playoffs."

Oh wait. Maybe that wasn't YouTubeTV, but rather the multinational enterprise whose monopolistic whimsy they're trying to curtaill.
And it was a 2-loss Oklahoma team no less!! And those two losses were to two Big 12 farm schools (Kansas State and Iowa State) at a time when the Big 12 was pretty weak.

I'll never forget Herbstreit's blatantly obvious shilling for his beloved 6-0 Ohio State team to get in the Playoff.

I moved to Sling TV last year and I don't understand the loyalty to YouTube TV. Please enlighten me.

With Sling, I don't get ABC or CBS.

Most CFB games on ABC are also on ESPN3 which I can watch.

I'm not missing CBS as I don't give a crap about watching NFL and when I do I have NFL Redzone.

What am I missing? What about YTTV is so great as to inspire this loyalty?

No clue your family situation, but my brother and mother (both Aggies) all live within the greater Houston area and we all share YTTV legally. So for us, its the cheapest way to watch "TV" and Aggie sports.
