Perhaps not. But they are probably as talented if not more than ND, get after the QB as good if not better than ND and lock down rushing as well as ND can. They've also posted an excellent turnover margin this season similar to ND.

We are going to have to play one of most complete games this season to beat them. We absolutely are the better team… but the whorns don't suck.

Pure talent … agree but Notre Dame's OL and backs are much , more effective. Tu has OL talent , there's no question but it's relatively inexperienced talent . They have improved from beginning of the season.

And Arch is better than CJ Carr.

Where I see them being quite similar is on defense.

I can't disagree that the defenses are reasonably comparable but the offenses aren't imo.

Manning vs Carr… not clear to me. Both are good but Carr isn't constantly running for his life

Something between Florida and Mizzou. We match up way better with the sips than we did/do Notre dame.

That's fair though it starts coming back to talent to me. Whorns talent looks a lot more like ND's than it does Florida or Mizzou or Auburn.

Big difference I think is horns are pretty bad in the secondary and pretty bad rushing.

ND is 19th in rushing yards and tu is 110

ND is 59th in passing yards allowed and tu is 111

Matchups are everything. I think we matchup with them better than it might appear on paper. That said, turnovers, ST and in-game adjustments with dictate if we win (even comfortably) or lose a close one.

Remember Sark and Banks are pretty good schemers. They're probably good for a couple of scores just on the opening series and potentially ST plays. But we have a hell of a smart coach in Elko. Hopefully Klein brings his best KSTATE hate of Texas also. Snyder always seemed to play them well
