If the Ags get 5 or 6 that might be huge blessing in disguise. If Georgia wins the SEC and gets the 2 seed, then playing G5 or Virginia/SMU and then Indiana/Tech is a pretty good path to the semis.

That's likely an easier path than if this team had a top 4 seed.

After sleeping on it, I think we end up 7-8.

Agreed, Bama moves up with 2 wins but the committee really have no good reason to put us behind Oregon and Ole Miss unless ND craps the bed tonight.

OM and Oregon will have better losses. All 3 of us have pretty weak schedules

I just don't think that's how it works. I think the committee truly looks at things like you'd actually write a resume.

If Oregon is sitting at 6 and USC at home is their best win… then the Aggies will have a hard time falling behind them with the ND win on the road so long as ND takes care of Stanford tonight.

Ole Miss is a bit more of an interesting conversation as OU is arguably a better win than us… but I don't really think they've got less impressive wins than we do in the SEC I think.

I also question how much Bama can truly move up. FSU loss is arguably as bad as the whorns loss to Florida though under how I think it works… beating Georgia twice would be pretty damn impressive.

We will be a 7 or 8 seed hosting a home game…pretty awesome to be in this spot in second year coaching the team.
