Turns out if you beat Penn st. you got a major bosot
idk why. Georgia lost a home game to a 2-loss team. I guess they could beat Bama this time, but Indiana's only loss would be in their 13th game vs the #1 team.Who?mikejones! said:Ag1188 said:Indiana will get the #2 or #1, whether Georgia wins next week or not.McNasty said:
Huge difference between the 6 and 7 seeds. Round 1, 6 seed will play a weak acc champ; 7 gets a deserving at large. Round 2, 6 seed likely gets sec or big runner up; 7 gets sec or big champ.
They wont if uga wins the sec ccg. They get the 3rd spot.

Who has Oregon beaten? USC at home? That win is better than us beating ND at their place? Plus they lost a home game and our loss was to a rival at their place. Make it make sense.

Doesn't ACC champ get auto bid?

Tech has a worst loss, worst sos and we are both 11-1. Not sure why they should be ahead.
Pretty early in season and didn't have their qb
That would literally knock out Alabama or Notre Dame, probably ND.Ag13 said:
BYU winning the Big 12 could also cause a little shakeup. They'd get an auto bid but I don't think tech would come even close to dropping out.
RB and Lb aren't the most important position vs QB.Sterling82 said:BraxtonW said:Vepp said:

You get points for that? How many points are we getting for the games we didn't have our starting RB or LB?
Elsewhere, it's stated that Tech is #4 because of the eyeball test. So we have formed a committee to evaluate analytics and so on but at the end of it, they use the eyeball test.
Good to know it's all on the up and up.

What happens to Alabama if they lose in SEC Championship and have 3 losses? Do they earn playoff spot by being in Championship Game or does 3rd loss drop them out of the top 12?

How could Tech be that high? They lost to Arizona State.
Texas Tech might be the best team that nobody'a talking about. Theyre dominant on both sides of the ball
They'd get in as the 10-seed still most likely. Not going to penalize them since they have like 4 ranked wins.DM44 said:

ATM and Oregon both have thr one loss and both are not bad losses, but ATM had much better wins. If regular season counts why would Oregon be tanked higher than ATM?

The fact that H2H isn't really much of a factor right now is laughable. That's basically taking away the whole point of even playing the games

No, the CG loss will have no impact on either they make the playoff or not.
