Notre Dame is only out because they didnt want the ACC to be shut out, IMO. I was thinking Alabama should be nervous for that reason

I'd rather take on buckeyes in round 2 than Georgia. Oregon got lucky. Screwed last year so I guess they are paid back.

I will say this. When a coach leaves a team for another equal team or better….that rem should be pushed to the end, just prior to the at large bids. Or at least to some variation to that.

Ole Miss, since their last win, is not the same team as the one that plays in round 1. There will be players who will not give it their all to avoid getting hurt, will be looking towards the portals and the head smart arse and mastermind.

I am not saying they are not worthy, but most everything they had to get them where they are vanished.

This is Ole Miss consolation prize. Lose your coach but get to play a team in round one you've already beaten by five touchdowns.

Unhappy with the seed #, but overall a pretty decent path for us. Things could be much worse.

I'd be on board with the whole "you can't leave out the SEC Championship loser and penalize them for losing the championship game" argument if there wasn't a FOUR WAY TIE for first place. Because of the tie, I think you can argue that Alabama can be left out. But then all the SEC folks will lose their minds.

F ND, with our loss to tu this is the best result other than the fact that we should have been #5.

But IMO we don't get past Georgia if we get that far.

Now go join real conference ND so you actually has to play some decent teams after week 3

ND was only in the running because their name in Notre Dame.

I'm happy with it…but this makes ZERO sense. Ohio state gets punished/Indiana gets for playing the CCG, Georgia/Bama don't, then Notre Dame gets punished for not playing in one, but Miami gets rewarded for not playing in theirs?

Yep. Dropping 4 spots for losing to a ranked rival is BS. Wouldn't happen to any other top 10 team

Somehow the Ags benefit from avoiding another rematch. Alabama vs OU and Tulane vs Ole Miss are already rematches, so A&M vs Miami is pleasantly surprising.

Hate that I have to be a Tech fan at the end of the month.

Guess Ill also be rooting for whoever wins the AL/OU matchup as much as a dislike both of those teams. I won't root for a Big Ten team even if it is a historic underdog.

Talk about a ****ing shock. No ND, just on the Tv revenue alone, is stunning. Also, this sets up really nicely for Oregon, as a non bye team.
