What say you Texags, better to buy $600/ticket now or wait until after we win on the 20th?

Beat Miami and those prices are skyrocketing to see Ags go H2H vs tOSU

But lose and do Miami and OSU fans travel for NYE? I'd think those ticket prices drop 50% minimum

I have been to Cotton Bowl every year since 2018
Ohio state has played in now 3 consecutive cotton bowls.
They will travel.
Aside from the Covid year every Cotton Bowl has been at or near capacity expect 2 years that saw a group 5 team play.. Penn state vs Memphis in 2019 and Tulane vs USC in 2023.
An A&M - Ohio State matchup will be just like last years Ohio State- Texas matchup in which is was sold out and ticket prices did not come down, and this was at the tail end of a snow/ ice storm in the Metroplex that handicapped travel into Dallas.
I think a Miami -Ohio state matchup will draw well at least in the 65-72k range. Only seats that will come down on price will be 4th level seats and if you have ever been to ATT Stadium, sitting on 4th level is about equivalent of sitting on the roof. You will just watch the big TV whole time. I sat on row 2 of 4th level once and I'll never pay to sit in the 4th level of ATT stadium again

Thanks, how about The corner seats on level 3? Would those maintain value despite a Miami osu matchup you think?

This could be a rematch of the 1987 Cotton Bowl.

IMO yes. .. somewhat
Corner decks on 3rd level will for sure hold value more than the 4th level seats.
Ohio state will travel. 100% I'm not sure how well Miami will travel but they are a big enough name to attract a lot of interest and drive prices.

Miami doesn't need to travel. Their brand is massive. I was at the SMU game where it was easily 2/3 Miami fans.

I pulled the trigger on 200 level tickets today. I think prices will climb dramatically if we beat Miami because we are in uncharted territory for our program.

Like others have said, if we lose I think they maintain their value or slightly increase because both tOSU and Miami are national brands and people will pay to see them.

The other thing is that tOSU will have a month to buy tickets and they travel. I want at least as much maroon in Jerry world as red. We need to elbow out as many as possible and truly make it a home field feeling.

How about everyone just tamp down on the brakes? The Aggies have to beat the U first before any Cotton Bowl thoughts should take place.

If you want tickets. You better buy them now.

Good seats will always be in demand. Buy them asap and resell on the secondary market if nec. You'll likely break even or better

I guarantee you both Miami and A&M will have travel plans in place to Dallas before they play each other.
Planning ahead, especially fans, does not have any impact on the game being played

Their brand is big, but I find it surprising how they don't get the blueblood treatment from the media like certain other teams do.

Just bought in section 329

Now A&M needs to blast Miami

Don't put me in a position to have to fire sell these Ags

If the Ags are playing in that game there will be Aggies in every part of the stadium.

Seatgeek shows the sides unlike Stubhub. Whichever one 329 is on is the side for either A&M/Miami

I wonder what our available sections will be , I don't think we will have similar access like we did when we played Piggie there. Suspect that we will be relegated to a lot of 300 and 400 sections

If you look at the Seat Geek map closely it looks like we have a few 100 sections and 300 sections but the bulk are 400 based on the seats currently listed for sale

Looking at that email and seeing how a lot of the highest ranked donors ( including those individuals who conveniently have multiple tickets available for resale to home and road games ) operate I think you can wipe off a minimum of about 4-5000 of the best available tickets off of our allotment to the top 1000 donors . Guessing that the face price of the seat will be $ 2-400 ( depending on if it's a club level ticket ) I think a pair in the nosebleeds through the 12 MF is what the average guy above the 1000 PP level is looking at. Convince me I'm wrong

Just glad I bought two tickets a month back. Section 221

Just checked and seats two rows in front of me are already double what I paid.

Hopefully it's not a repeat of the 1999 Sugar Bowl

My 1988 Cotton Bowl ticket was $25. Adjust that for inflation, and its $71.30. I wouldn't pay more than $100 for a ticket to anything. I'm priced out of bowl games that matter. I hate what's happened to college football.

I bought 40 yard line seats about 18 rows up in the visitor section from some Razorback fans that were sure they would be there. The price per seat was $40 or 50 and I bought eight I think.

I only will buy seats if one of the guys who's joined us or my younger brother asks me to. Regrettably my dad is no longer available to go.

Maybe upper deck corner for Samford.

Did you even have replay back then? hah.

AI estimates that each team gets 12,000-13,000 tickets so your predication doesn't seem too far off base.
