Yea man, I'm thinking they will start rising again on Christmas Eve , with the 27th or 28th being the last "good" opp to sell.

At this point, if I recoup 50% of cost that will be a big success.

I have 6 in section 229. Sold 4 @ $600 each last week. Sold the last 2 at FV today (FV to me at $250, buyer paid more w/ fees).

The 4 I sold at $600 are currently for sale at $270…..

I use them if aTm or Bama are playing or if it's a really good game.

Never had a problem selling for at least FV and make big $$ when it's a semi-final.

How do you get on the ticket distribution from the bowl? Just buy early enough?

I used to buy Texas Bowl tix directly from the bowl. Made a **** ton the year whorn and pig played. That's a much riskier bowl than the NY6 though

Not sure. I've had them for 20+ years and used to go every year in the old Cotton Bowl. Bundle up, spike the hot chocolate with bourbon or baileys, enjoy the weather and tailgating scene, great NY day, would go to every game unless cow was playing.

I just kept renewing them and did so when it moved to JerryWorld but given the distance, parking, concession prices etc. don't go nearly as often.

Check in the spring as I don't think there is a waiting list as I am always given a chance to move or buy more tickets.

Are good tickets still selling for face (I'm sure the nosebleeds aren't)?

As noted above tOSU travels well and has a considerable alumni base in DFW but Miami is a downer, can't even fill up whatever Hard Rock is called now for good games.

I understand why they sent tOSU to the Cotton instead of Miami's home stadium but if Tech was playing in the Cotton the tickets prices would be astronomical.

How many of these deals still exist? Amazing.

Not going to lie - this game is starting to look interesting as the prices drop.

No. Even 50 yard line first deck seats were sub $500 per last I checked.

A potential A&M matchup had the ticket prices for the cotton bowl incredibly overinflated, much more than I and the others earlier in this thread were anticipating. Possibly the most overinflated Cotton Bowl prices ever before the round 1 games

OSU beats Miami, Oregon beats Tech, Indiana beats Bama and Georgia eliminates Ole Miss. And you are left with Georgia vs the Big10. Then the rest of the SEC roots against Georgia.

Looking at that email and seeing how a lot of the highest ranked donors ( including those individuals who conveniently have multiple tickets available for resale to home and road games ) operate I think you can wipe off a minimum of about 4-5000 of the best available tickets off of our allotment to the top 1000 donors . Guessing that the face price of the seat will be $ 2-400 ( depending on if it's a club level ticket ) I think a pair in the nosebleeds through the 12 MF is what the average guy above the 1000 PP level is looking at. Convince me I'm wrong

The School allotment for bowl games are usually very mediocre tickets. I went to most of the bowl games from 85-05 always through the TMF and never had great tickets.
My BIL used to have good tickets every year to the Alamo bowl through the Alamo Bowl.
he liked SA and was a t-sip most years it was either the Ags or the horns so he had tickets locked in
