The students need to attend College Gameday and drown him out each time he speaks. That will show Grumpy Grampa Saban.
The same coach that whined incessantly that A&M's newfangled HUNH offense was bad for the kids and would lead to injury and then hired a HUNH coach as soon as he could? That guy is still whining about A&M?
So loud ass music is called "crowd noise"?
Kyle Fiekd was loud as **** when I was a student in the early 90s. Kyle today is still loud but I don't think any louder than back in my day.

When Johnny was beating his team he complained about A&M going too fast on offense arguing that it was not good for " player safety", but it was ok when he was beating everybody. left and right.
He aso complained about the transfer portal and accused A&M of buying players.
Now he is talking about pumping crowd noise?

Classic pot/kettle situation here. I don't know if all schools (including us) do it, but I can still remember going to the 2016 game in Tuscaloosa and thinking at the time that it was so obviously over-the-top that they were clearly pumping in noise. The noise in the stadium was nearly the same 20 minutes before the game with the stands half full as it was it was in the 3rd quarter with the game still very much up in the air.

But I have sat in several different areas of the new Kyle Field and in every section it no longer seems as loud as it used to.
Yet you may remember that we were told that the renovations were architecturally done specifically to increase crowd noise.
Maybe it's just me..but the older bare concrete steep-walled Kyle Field before renovation seemed more intimidating.
I know, the 1985 tu game is still the lodest game I have ever been to and it was maybe 80k.. But this stadium does seem to be on top of the field and I KNOW the visiting team feels them.
My son and I noticed at the tu game that they were clearly piping in crowd noise during warm-ups and pregame. Don't know if it continued during the actual gameplay, but it was very loud.

This isn't enough. We need A/C vents on the visitors' sideline pumping out gasses that make them sleepy. While we're at it, let's go ahead and hit the visitors' locker room with liquid ass fart spray right before they show up. No half measures!

Not pissing on anybody's morning corn flakes but we have stacked concert type speakers on the east side of Kyle Field numerous times after the Zone was built and again after the new Kyle Field was finished. It has happened. Kinda embarrassing I thought and rather tacky.

If so, I could see Saban floating topics like this that Sexton wants to give exposure. He knows that having Saban say it generates a lot more conversation than if it came from any other mouthpiece.
My LSU-loving son-in-law attended his first game at Kyle Field for last year's LSU game.
I think he can give a fairly unbiased opinion on Kyle Field noise.
Now granted LSU fans have an inherent hatred of Saban, but my SIL thought the piped-in noise claim was the most ridiculous thing he has heard.

I have not been to Kyle Fied since the 60's and do not live in Texas now. However we used to be proud of the fact we could make annoying loud noise without speakers. (Only other colleges need to use speakers to make crown noise).
I seem to have learned on this board that, indeed, we use speakers at Kyle. I agree that we should not use speakers for crowd noise.

I was humored when they brought up Saban's alleged claim on gameday and Saban cut in to say "y'all are going to get me booed tomorrow".
