I agree, but also we played a very weak schedule. And the two shots came with a loss with our biggest rival. Not something to brag about. I think it'll work out and I think Elko is the answer, but that's not the flex you think it is.

I can't say that I'm currently the picture of health, but Elko needs to leverage the nutrition and S&C programs that he has at his fingertips. How motivating would it be to the team if he were working out with them and looked like more of a role model? This is what I saw this morning:

I'd like him to be much more fit. You don't normally see huge obese leaders because executive levels typically go to older and more experienced. They are also stressful positions that do not do kindly on the body, especially fat ones. I would love for Elko to show us all how he is the best. If he does that, I even more want him to be fit and in good shape so the headline isnt, "All time great coach of A&M passes due to health issues"

My stomach gets like that when I have to let go a massive fart. But then once I let it rip, then I am flat as a board.

As I said when Elko was hired, he's a mediocre coach at best, just like all our coaches since 1939. Elko is not and never has been a defensive guru, as some have claimed. We hired him with no effort toward a serious HC search. He has no HC experience except here - Duke doesn't count in the SEC.

Until we decide we need a professional college football search firm to find our coaches (HC, DC, and OC ) we are doomed to throwing darts blindfolded!

Life is much more enjoyable when you just don't have any sh$ts to give about this stuff.

Elko is the reason for the playoff season.

He and his staff are responsible for keeping our players here post-jimbo, and they have been doing a great job recruiting and in the portal. Yes, there are issues to be addressed....there will ALWAYS be issues and things to work on. That's life on and off the field.

The culture here has been outstanding. All it takes is listening to how the players talk about the team, the coaches, and our university.

Super easy, get glp 1 and by next season he will be 50-100lbs lighter.
