No we are surrounded with negative Nancies who want to complain about everything. These were two good teams. The game was expected to be close and it was. Def was lights out, but poor qb play cost us the game.

We all were hoping for more, but it was a great season. Those that disagree aren't being honest.

If we see the see the same improvement next season that we saw this season, it will be another great one.

We lost to tu.
We got bounced at home in the first round of CFP.
We benefited from a weaker schedule that actually made Reed look like a legit elite QB.

Agreed 100%. But I am a 50 yr old Aggie and dont demand instant gratification with zero memory of the past.

Awesome season. Definitely the best or 2nd best in my lifetime. Tough loss. But what Elko is accomplishing is truly historical in every way.

Be happy, sure. Could've been better, but was better than most expected in August. And being pissed off is natural, if you care.

But once spring ball starts, kids need to be setting their sights higher.
Seems like once we were pretty much guaranteed a playoff spot, the team got cocky, thinking they'd done something. And thinking they were somebody.

News flash….we ain't done sh*t. And we still aren't on the big picture radar for anyone. Team needs to evolve.

Same mentality that had people replaying that John Roper hit against TCU from the 80's. Schools with rings laugh at that sort of thing. I've witnessed it. Absolutely embarrassing.

We played a weak SEC schedule and crumbled under mild scrutiny. Sure it was fun to watch us collect cheap wins but I, as a former student, am sick and tired of the continued disappointment. We are in the top state for talent. No one has more resources. No one's fan base is more supportive. So what gives? It's this kind of participation trophy low expectations that propagates the mediocre outcomes. But at least we don't with class.

In years past, when these were essentially students, and coaches were making just very good money, I was reluctant to criticize, and was grateful for whatever wins came our way.

But now that the players are making very good money (more employee than student) and coaches are getting rock star money, I expect better and don't feel the slightest bit of reluctance to let them know when they suck. And the last two games, they really sucked.

I' been watching and following since the middle 50's. Ive witnessed more heartbreak than jubilation than most anyone. If God lets me live several more years I'm done with A&M sports. As Rhett said, "frankly my dear, I don't give a damn!" Hunting seasons start in September, I get a lot more pleasure out of that than I did today!

He didn't really turn into a pumpkin. What you saw in the last two games is an athletic quarterback who has to rely on his legs when the offensive line cannot maintain protection long enough for him to run through his progressions. Part of the issue is the line and part is that he is not able to see the whole field and analyze it fast enough, so he gets impulsive and forces passes he shouldn't. If given the chance, he may improve with time, but it is questionable. But as you can see, as the teams played have better defenses toward the end of the year, those issues are difficult to overcome. I am afraid that if he now opted for the draft, today's performance was not a good sales pitch.

Now explain the throws where he never moved, had plenty of time, and still threw about 6 FT off the mark.
His targets shouldn't have to be circus acrobats just to get a hand on a pass.
Nor do they need to catch 99 mph fastballs when they're 7 yds away.

Reed played like sh*t today, period.

This should have been a manageable win especially at home but the offense did nothing. To make it worse, they continued the same crap as tu. You could have chalked the tu game up to nerves or rivalry or whatever but to repeat the same bad offensive effort was not a good sign and a huge letdown.
