Like you, I graduated in the 80's and have watched underwhelming performance for decades. I stopped my investment in tickets, parking, merchandise and such years ago because while working in industry I realized that those who control the money, make the decisions that result in success or failure. Our decision makers make less successful decisions than tu's decision makers, or Alabama's, or LSU's. What hires have they made and how many championships do they have compared to us? A few stick out like Daryl Royal, Mack Brown, and lately Sark has beaten Elko twice in a row. In recent history, we won a Big 12 Championship, but not a national championship in my lifetime. The message is simple, until the fans vote with their wallets, nothing will change. Imagine if only say 2000 die hards showed up today for ESiPn. I know it is a fantasy, but I am done feeding the machine.
