We have a very nice stadium and great fans. But modern offenses aren't affected by either. I've now, very recently, watched ND, Texas, and Miami play totally unaffected by Kyle Field. That said, back in the day I watched teams unable to get a snap off because it was so loud. Things have changed, but most won't acknowledge it.
ND scored 23, tu 17, and Miami 10 in the games you referenced. All well below their season averages. Nothing the crowd can do to make the offense score at home. I get that you are pissed we lost those games, but claiming there isn't a home field advantage is just being contrarian.
That we're a pretty good team says nothing about the crowd influencing the outcome. Sorry sunshine, but I was there. The crowd had no impact.
Cool flex on being on the game. I was there too big guy.
Being at home isn't some magic elixir that's going to make the other team crap down their leg. Can the crowd be loud and the other team not jump offside repeatedly? Of course, it's not mutually exclusive.
Let guess the teams you think have home field advantage. LSU? Yeah they are pretty tough to beat at home when Burrow, Chase, and Jefferson are running around. Not so tough to beat when they suck and we clear their stadium out. How about UGA that had a multiple year home winning streak coming into this year? I've been to their stadium several times and it's not close to the same sustained noise level as Kyle Field. Want to know why they have a home field advantage? Maybe it's the 10 draft picks they have running around every year.
Some of you have an inflated idea of what Kyle Field once was. Did we win a lot in Kyle in the 80's and 90's. Of course, and how many times did other SWC teams come in with better teams? Hardly ever.
