11-1 and a big12 conference championship is about equivalent to an 8-4 SEC team. The strength of scheduling disparity between conferences in college football is massive. The big12 has a horrendous all time playoff record as well.

The playoff committee needs to not reward a terrible conf. first round byes/home field because of win/loss records when they repeatedly prove they cannot compete with the big boys. They need to treat the big12, which is a really a basketball conference, just like the group of five and seed them appropriately at the bottom of the bracket.

Finally had to play against a team that wasn't entirely 2-star and 3-star recruits.

Not really a fraud when you had no chance to win it all. We knew the offense was inept and their defense was elite against suspect offenses. Played a real offense today and got exposed

I think people need to remember that WE only scored 3 points in our playoff game AT HOME. Plus, it appears that there is a serious issue with teams with first round byes playing teams that played within the last 10 days. Oregon was not even competitive in last years QF against Ohio St.

tech deserves the benefit of both of those considerations.

Like I have said all year, "nobody is good". That's going to be the fruit of NIL and the portal. This is the ultimate team sport and so the quality will be diluted by having mercenaries filling up every roster.

UGA will probably win it all because their defense is freaky, but other than that, all these teams are flawed.

People trashed our schedule, but Tech wouldn't have beaten this years LSU team, much less on the road...at night

No question the big 12 was exposed in the Orange bowl today.
Texas Tech is a good ball club.
They just played a very weak conference.
I'm not sure we could beat them playing on a neutral site.

They would have also gotten thrashed by a solid Mizzou team at Faurot Field.
