Based on what? Indiana has a better defense than Oregon. They also wouldn't have had 4-5 costly bad snaps from the center. Oregon should have won by 4 touchdowns and Indiana would likely have hung 50 on Texas Tech. Ty Simpson is a lot better QB than Morton, so if Indiana knocked Morton out of the game, not sure how anyone thinks Texas Tech is remotely competitive against the Hoosiers.

No one said Texas Tech would be competitive against the Hoosiers. But it is ridiculous to slam Texas Tech for losing 23-0 as this thread is doing but not do the same in regards to Alabama losing 38-3. Both teams got crushed. The difference is that we are biased for the SEC and when a Big 12 team gets crushed, that supports our narrative, but when an SEC team gets crushed, it does not.

It takes serious idiocy to not know the difference between getting shut out, and losing a tight game that goes down to the final seconds.
Anyone with a basic understanding of football knew that tech was massively over seeded based on beating up on a mid major conference with low level competition.
And anyone with a basic understanding of football knows that losing a game decided in the final seconds to a highly ranked team does not make a fraud.
Bama lost to an undefeated team with a heisman winning quarterback… after winning a playoff game.
Throw in the fact that the trailer tards have spent the last 2 weeks trashing us for only scoring 3… and then got shut out… and this thread is entirely appropriate.
