Best of luck to an all-time Aggie. From starting as a true freshman to All-SEC honors, he was a stud.

happy for him and a bit surprised.

If he makes an NFL team, no player will outwork him.

Same thing said about Anaias Smith. Where's he now? York should stay in CFB until they kick him out.

York seems like a fantastic young man, but he's getting some terrible advice. He'll be a bottom half of the draft player at best and is unlikely to make a team at all regardless of how smart he is.

Idk who is advising him but it's questionable. I doubt he'll go very high in the draft. Would be better in my opinion to develop and show out one more year in CFB. Hope nothing but the best for him though.

Not surprised. This was expected and really he will not add anything by staying another year. You could argue he would make more in NIL but that's all he could gain.

He will get drafted. I've seen him listed as the #7 LB in the draft with most projections I've seen as going in the 3rd round.

Dat Nguyen and Zach Thomas were short Middle linbackers who played in the NFL. All 3 guys are about the same height and Weight, Dat was a 3rd round pick and played 6 seasons for Dallas, while Thomas played 13;years mostly with Miami.
I agree. He has the intelligence and work ethic to be successful in the sport (probably anything he decides to do). Can't blame him for taking the chance and enjoying the journey. He jas a bright future somewhere.Vinny said:
If the NFL doesn't pan out I could definitely see York becoming a successful coach somewhere. Smart kid and he has the right mentality that you want to influence others.

Elko might've encouraged him to go to the draft since his stock is likely at its height and it is time for us to move on as well. Maybe he can come back to coach.
that logic all made sense before nil. Post nil and he may be taking a pay cut and assume a bunch of risk of not making it...Jawn Dough said:BCO07 said:

Even if he stayed and showed out next year, I doubt his draft stock would improve since he's an undersized linebacker.
Maybe he doesn't want to play college ball anymore and feels it's time for him to see if he can make it to the league.

We will see if an NFL team can look past his measurables.
