College coaches get paid more than NFL coaches. Only downside to college besides the portal madness is that its a year round job

$60 mil is way outside 3 sigma. There has been exactly one that large. The mean buyout is like $15 mil.

All I know is if I'm making $10 million dollars in college or the NFL… I'm going NFL all day. You have a fair and organized playoff system, no recruiting, adult men, and structure. If you leave at this point in time, if you're Sark, and fail in the NFL after 3 years… you just take the best job on the market in college at that time. No brainer for me.

Because Lane abandoned Ole Miss (Eli's alma mater) or because he abandoned Tennessee (Peyton's alma mater)?

I'm no Manning fan, mainly due to Eli's refusal to play for the NFL team that drafted him, but I can understand them not liking Kiffin too.

Goes back to November when a guy connected to their program said Sark would be in the NFL next season. This guy said Scloss was heading to Austin prior to the championship series in Omaha.

Last year they were just better, and kicked our ass. Score could have been worse without the turnovers we got. Trenches got whipped.

This year Reed just played horribly, between bad decisions and poorly thrown balls. Trenches held their own, mostly.
Their run game success was from varying busts in gap assignments, not so much from them physically getting push and dominating

Last year, hats off to them.
This year, we shot ourselves in the foot. A lot.
