I can't even imagine what it would be like if we pulled him and Coleman. Those two plus Craver and Bethel-Roman would be NFL level talent for all WRs

Yea yea yea, I know the chance of us getting both is close to zero but I can still dream

I'd rather get him and get him for what I presume will be a cheaper price tag than Cam and go use that money to get better pieces elsewhere, like RB where we still don't have quality power backs as all our quality backs are under 215 lbs….

I'm guessing we've grown tired of the Coleman recruitment and moving on.

If we had even one tall receiver to throw to this year in the red zone, I think there's a good chance we could still be playing. We were absolutely terrible in red zone efficiency, and I think a big part of that is the fade wasn't even remotely a threat to the defense

Him, craver, ABR and development of the freshman(Myles?) would give you a very capable WR core.

I'm getting some major diva vibes from Coleman. If that is the case, then I would rather have Horton. I also have no idea what's going on just like anyone else, including these "insiders" that people pay to get information from.

We aren't getting both and this is a strong indication of where we stand with Coleman

Here is a list of the most spoke about WR targets that the Aggies are pursuing:

We are probably only going to take one of these potential targets:

1. Cam Coleman, Auburn WR - 6'3" 200
2. Malcolm Simmons, Auburn - 6'1" 170
3. Isaiah Horton, Alabama WR - 6'3" 205
4. Dre'lon Miller, Colorado WR - 6'0" 200

All of these WRs have scheduled visits to College Station.

Are we looking at any RBs at all?
Michigan kid? LSU kid? Other?

The RB room is pretty talented. If we bring in somebody new does one of the backs leave. I would like to see some player already on the team used as the short yardage big back. Just my opinion.

I cant see a RB leaving if we add 1. RBs are now used to sharing reps and rotating. That means a rotation of 3 with experience. Wouldn't make sense for a freshman to leave especially when redshirt is available

Was thinking a legit workhorse that has 1, max 2 years left.
The only one right now with any meaningful experience is Owens, then Morrow a little bit.
And Owens doesn't impress. Maybe he'll have a magical off-season in his development.

Got some good young prospects though. Edwards could be really special, and I don't think anyone should sleep on Riden either.

KC the leader was just as crucial as KC the player. Personality, work ethic, and gravitas are all super important.
Huge shoes to fill.

The staff brought in the right guy in KC, obviously they prioritized extending Craver, and i assume he has great importance from all three perspectives

They will do good work filling the void of KC's absence. Horton would probably be a great fit.

We are currently looking at 2 RBs in the portal, the Baylor RB Washington and the Mich St RB Frazier

Agreed. Feel Coleman is the classic..."show me the money" type of player. Wouldn't be surprised if he goes portal next year too.

To me, the RB room is pretty unproven and doesn't seem that talented. Our no. 1, Owens, doesn't make people miss, break tackles, or move a pile. He has good hands and is an effective pass protecting back, so he's good for a 3rd down back possibly. Who is going to carry the load? Geez, we've had teams with 3 backs better than any back on this roster (thinking about Greg Hill, Rodney Thomas, and Leland McElroy)

Agreed we really need a big thumper RB who moves the pile forward.

Totally agree. We had a very balanced offense the last two years until Moss went out. We need a hard runner who can break tackles and get tough yardage. But since this thread is about WRs and Isaiah Horton, he's a definite take for our team.

Owens is above avg. and serviceable.

Many here are under rating KJ Edwards. He could be RB1 sooner rather than later IMHO.

Horton had 511 yds on 42 receptions in '25. 8 TDS. 12.2 yds avg.

Coleman had 708 yds on 56 receptions. 5 TDS. 12.6 avg.

Get Horton and a couple more DTs with the spending money saved.
