So…Mond did better in 2020…
And Texas Tech is still overrated. They were exposed as the frauds they were and still got ranked at 7.
I never thought I would ever be pining for Mond.
on no planet was texas tech a top 10 team. Shows you how little consideration actually goes into these things.

It's still a good indicator to use to compare our seasons throughout history. This was only our third top 10 finish at the end of the season over the past 31 years (2012 #5 and 2020 #4).

We will see....IU got blown out in their first CFP appearance last year and won the Natty this year.....with the new state of CFB, its a new game every year.....

Indiana plays in a real conference and has a great coaching staff. Tech has neither. They are a fraud just like Tulane/JMU and all the other G6 teams.

Your expert opinions don't mean crap..... Tech will be in the mix again next year whether you like it or not, with a real QB this time which was our achilles heal, and a D that should be close to what we had this year....

ESPN is going to pimp Texas until the very bitter end aren't they. They just can't imagine a world without them in the top 5 no matter what happened the season before.

How is Oklahoma at 12 in the way-too-early poll after getting a recruiting class outside of the top 15 and doing almost nothing in the portal? SEC defenses are going to eat Mateer for lunch next season.

This made me laugh out loud. The cognitive dissonance these clowns have to keep ranking the sips anywhere inside the Top 10 during preseason is just mind-boggling.
And the Technicals at 7 is just as laughable. Their best team ever was exposed once they played a decent team and these clowns are back at the well with them. I assume these voters have to put someone from that joke of a conference in the Top 10 but JFC, when will they learn? The Big XII is a mid-major conference now (really has been for the last 15 years) and their champion is cannon fodder for whoever is lucky enough to draw them in the CFP.
People think I'm an idiot or something, because all I do is cut lawns for a living.
Don't like how the season ended but 11 wins and finishing higher than tu, Bama and ND?

i mean at this point should indiana be ranked number 1 every year ? it's not like their recruiting isn't going to improve. if cignetti can win this year every year is a year he can win it.

Just a friendly reminder that ESPN's rankings never have and never will mean anything. AP/Coaches Poll's and the CFP rankings are the only ones that matter. This holds as much meaning as my local Helena, Arkansas newspaper's top 25.
