To whose benefit? The student athlete and the program. It costs a ton of money to pay for college athletics across all programs, keeping facilities current, and NIL. And it gets more expensive every year.
You make it sound like leadership in the Athletic Department and 12th Man Foundation are pocketing the money and going on boondoggles which is absolutely NOT the case. Be careful with your words.
