Nothing stupider than hiring a dozen boomers to count wins and loses

Texas could play Tech and Sark's argument would still be spot on. Playing one tough game does not make Tech's schedule difficult. Playing 9 SEC games and Ohio State does. Sark is saying EXACTLY what we have been saying since 2012. Tech is the perfect example of what is wrong with the committee. The fact the committee would put a 11-1 Tech ahead of or in place of a 10-2 A&M is the problem Sark is voicing. He's on the money and it's WAY past time for the committee to pay attention.

Tech finished last year ranked #8 and beat four teams that finished in the top 25 by 3+ scores (and had five total top 25 wins - beat BYU twice). Tech finished ahead of A&M in both polls.

Tech has to play the hand it was dealt. Tech's schedule this year is embarrassingly easy… no question. Part of that is because no one wants to schedule a home and home with Tech. I don't blame them.

I personally hate the Big 12. I hope Tech eventually gets a shot at the Big 10 before the whole thing falls apart. I think Tech is starting to push for that but has work to do.

As for Sark - if he's *****ing about Tech getting into the CFP and the whorns didn't, here's the solution: get good and don't lose to Florida. Problem solved. Tech isn't UT's problem. UT is UT's problem. Sark's panties got dropped to his ankles by Cody Campbell and I think it's hilarious. Sark needs to drink less or drink more, but what he's currently doing isn't working.

Who cares. BYU was not the 11th best team last year. Utah was not the 14th best team. UH was not the 22nd best team. We need to stop taking Big 12 teams seriously when their strongest wins are over the likes of Cincinnati. Missouri is likely better than those three teams. Tech finished ranked ahead of us, but do you honestly believe they were better than us?

This-and I wasn't referencing last year. We finished 11-1 last year, not 10-2. I was using a hypothetical for this upcoming year. A body of work of 10-2 or hell, even 9-3 with our upcoming schedule is far superior to Tech going 12-0 with their upcoming schedule but the committee doesn't get it. Honest question, how many wins would Tech have with our schedule? The committee doesn't care about anything but the win total and that was Sark's point.
