I'm a fan. I watched about 6 of their last 8 games last year as they climbed out of the basement. It was fun to watch. And they are playing like their hair is on fire this year. Considering I am an American with no real loyalties to any Euro club, count me in.

They look awesome. It will be interesting to see how they approach the FA cup game against Spurs. Without having to worry about Europe I bet they field a strong squad throughout the Cup as well. They are playing as direct and as fast as anybody has in that league in quite a while. Fun to watch.

Long way to go yet, as any Spurs fan will tell you. It's depth in squad and experience (above and beyond talent) that gets those top spots.

No one has called him a scrub. The question is: Is this some weird fluke year, or as someone put it, is he this year's Harry Kane? Or is this here to stay?

He's 29 years old and this output really has come out of left field. His last 4 seasons are 5 goals in 29 matches (Championship), 16 in 41 (Champ.) , 5 in 36 (EPL) and so far this year 18 in 26 (EPL). This kind of out of the blue production out of a 29 yo is really remarkable. My guess is at some point in the near future he reverts to the mean and his mean is a long way from current levels.

Thats not to say it hasn't been a lot of fun watching him score from every where and every angle.

Last year's harry kane is 2nd on the goals scored list this year.

Yes, but he wasn't the first 3rd of the season and everyone wondered which Harry Kane was the real Harry Kane. The second third of the season he looks like last year. And Kane is a LOT younger than Vardy, which makes what Vardy is doing even more remarkable.

Interesting article on Leicester City. It shows just how aberrant their year has been. Avoiding injuries is always a big deal in any sport and they are way better than anyone else. The PK numbers are staggering too.

They need to average at most 2 points per game to clinch the title. That would be with Tottenham winning all 6 remaining games.
